We want to manage expectations and ensure you know what you are getting into when you choose to work with us to find your animal a new home. Please read ALL of the information below: 

Adoptions are VERY slow right now as there is a pet homelessness crisis that's been going on since 2021. Age, temperament, and size play a big role in adoptability.  We will always  do our best though!

• If your pet(s) have any vaccine or medical records, please collect those and have them available to share with us. 
• Our contract requires all cats/dogs to be up to date on rabies, distemper, sterilized, and microchipped. If they need any updates, we complete those by charging the adopter our typical adoption fee. This doesn’t cover all the costs, but it does keep the animal healthy and help offset them some. If they are up to date on everything and chipped, there is only a $50 adoption fee for them to cover our vetting costs. Again, this is the adopters, you are not subject to payment.
  
• All animals must be indoors, safe, and adequately cared for to be eligible for adoption through our organization.
  
• We ask fosters to send us a weekly photo or a few via email or text. We post as often as we’re provided with them, so more frequent pictures are more exposure for them.
  
• We will put them on our adoptables binder at our events which we normally do at least one - two every weekend. If they are well-mannered and socialized and vaccinated, you are welcome to attend some of our events, but please let us know you plan to attend at least 48 hours in advance so we can make appropriate accommodations.
• We will need the following information for a profile:

  Cats:
  Dogs:
  3-5 High Quality Photos. Profile of at least 5 sentences. Please include quirks, cute habits, or things that make you smile about them. BE HONEST, it helps us successfully place your pet.
