We are a woman and queer-owned, volunteer-run non-profit organization that has created a unique space as an all species animal rescue, sanctuary & LGBTQ+ retreat in North Carolina.
Our primary focus until the sanctuary is complete is animal rescue, rehabilitation, finding Furever homes and providing sanctuary to the voiceless. Upon the completion of our sanctuary, RRR will be able to expand our rescue mission to a full facility with farm animals as well as be able to host retreats for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies with a combination of animal, nature, music, yogic and spiritual experiences.
Whether this means pulling from high-kill shelters, rescuing strays with our community's help or accepting surrenders from owners who are unable to care for their pets anymore, we make sure our rescues have a refuge where they are loved, healthy, and thriving until they meet their furever family.
Our mission is to provide a furever home to those that desperately need it. Sometimes our rescues cannot be placed in furever homes, instead they remain in our sanctuary or hospice so that we can provide them stability and the highest quality of life possible.
We take in a wide variety of animals from different backgrounds, many with special needs and in need of treatment and surgeries. We answer the calls for help, but at a very large expenditure of funds, fosters, and time. Please help us continue to help those left behind and without a voice.
Exotic veterinarians and other specialists are costly, but worth it to give each animal the best quality of care.
