About Us
We are a woman and queer-owned, volunteer-run non-profit organization that has created a unique space as an all species animal sanctuary & LGBTQ+ retreat in North Carolina.
Our primary focus right now is providing sanctuary and rehabilitation for the voiceless. As of July 2024, we were forced to close the rescue portion of our organization indefinitely due to lack of community support. Upon the completion of our sanctuary, RRR hopes to be able to expand our rescue mission to a full facility with domestic, some exotic, and farm animals as well as be able to host retreats for the LGBTQ+ community and their allies with a combination of animal, nature, music, yogic and spiritual experiences.
Whether pulled from a high-kill shelter, stray, or accepting surrenders from owners who are unable to care for their pets anymore, we make sure our rescues have a refuge where they are loved, healthy, and thriving until they meet their furever family.
Sometimes our rescues cannot be placed in furever homes, instead they remain in our sanctuary or hospice so that we can provide them stability and the highest quality of life possible.
