Welcome to Rainbow Rescue & Retreat!

We are a woman and queer-owned, volunteer-run non-profit organization that has created a unique space as an all species animal sanctuary & LGBTQ+ retreat in North Carolina.

Our primary mission at this time is to provide our rescues, of all species from diverse backgrounds, with a loving refuge to call home. 

Volunteers, fosters, and donations are always in high demand with the unending calls, emails, and texts for help we receive everyday. 

YOUR donation can help us provide the necessary care, housing, supplies, food, and preventatives our rescues need while in our sanctuary and foster- keeping them happy, healthy and thriving!
